This sale is for a brand new high performance racing GM HEI distributor with 65,000 volt coil and show polished aluminium housing. It is 100% new, not rebuilt. Includes all new cap, rotor, ignition module coil and vacuum advance. It fits all Chevy 4.3 V6 cylinder using a HEI Distributor.

This distributor fits the CHEVY  4.3 V6 engines that are carburetted or have been converted to carburation. The later V6 engines that are Throttle Body fuel Injection require a different type distributor, if you are converting your TBI engine to run with a carburetor this is the distributor you need. This unit is made by the same reliable company that makes our V-8 models and all our other distributors for both GM and Ford.

IMPORTANT

Be sure you have a Chevy 4.3L V-6 engine in your vehicle. This distributor WILL NOT work with a 3.8 (229 cu in) V6 or with a 200 cu inch in a Chevy V6.

 

FROM GM: Production 1978-84 V6/90 degree Chevrolet (229ci) engines have a semi-even fire sequence which alternates between 132 and 108 degree of crankshaft rotation. OR THAT HAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO CARB.
