THIS IS THE COMPLETE HEI DISTRIBUTOR, WITH THE SUPER COIL.

This is a full size HEI distributor with a mechanical Tacho drive. Many Corvettes used a mechanical Tacho drive in the years prior to the development of the HEI distributor. Make sure you have fire wall clearance if running this in any Corvette that used a point style distributor. This distributor is approx. one full inch or 28mm larger in overall diameter than the early style point style units. These distributors are made by the same company that our regular HEI units are from. This is a new item for us, but certainly not new for the manufacturer. They have marketed this distributor for many years, and find it to be a very high quality item.

 

THIS UNIT WILL FIT ANY CARBURETED V-8 CHEVY ENGINE MADE. YOU CAN REPLACE YOUR POINT STYLE DISTRIBUTOR WITH THIS. THE DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE IS DRAMATIC TO SAY THE LEAST.

This auction is for a brand new high performance racing GM HEI distributor with 65,000 volt coil and show polished aluminium housing. It is 100% new, not rebuilt. Includes all new cap, rotor, ignition module coil and vacuum advance. It fits all SBC small block and BBC big block Chevy V8 engines. Product Features:

These 100% new distributors have extremely reliable components including a high-power 65,000 volt coil. This high-performance distributor produces a 65,000 volt spark through 7,500 RPM with true spark alignment for instantaneous response, a high performance curve, a premium cap with brass terminals, and a low-saturation ignition module. Both have die-cast aluminium housings, polished to a brilliant billet-look appearance. The base advance is 24 degrees. The vacuum is 12 degrees for a total of 36 degrees at 3500rpm's. The advance curve starts at 800pm.This is a NEW CHEVY HEI Electronic distributor. These HEI Distributors are the perfect upgrade for non-computer controlled engines.
