64-70 MUSTANG
New "STAINLESS STEEL" Small Block Ford WindsorTri - Y Custom headers. These are brand new headers in their factory box. These will bolt up to your 64-70 Mustang with 260, 289, or 302 Early Ford Windsor engines (not sure about compatibility with the 351W). Includes bolts, washers, and gaskets (not shown in the picture). These high quality stainless steel headers feature a polished finish, giving them a bright, almost chrome-like look. Flanges are 3/8" thick and tubes are 1 5/8", extremely heavy duty. These headers are a high quality and polished; their finish will last you the life of your vehicle! The picture'S just cannot show how nice these headers really are. If you are re-doing your exhaust and looking for a horsepower boost, you're in the right place, as these usually list for $695! These are the Long Tube TRI Y style headers but will not fit late style 302 5.0L with GT40 std or P and t- type heads. To ensure fitment make all enquiries for suitability before purchase.
The exhaust manifolds found in the 1964-1970 Ford Mustang were designed to combine the exhaust gasses from each of the cylinders quickly with a manifold that was cost effective to produce. Our FLOWMASTER 4-2-1 Tri-Y Style headers are designed to allow the exhaust gasses to flow more freely from each 4 cylinder bank and combine in a more efficient manner. Tubing has been optimized for the 260/289/302 engines. This creates a reduction in cylinder backpressure and improved exhaust gas velocity. These improvements free up lost horsepower and torque. An added benefit is a more performance oriented exhaust sound. Polished to perfection to show off the quality welds.
