Saginaw Power Steering pumps normally put out 1200 psi, but that is too much for a normal Ford or Mustang II Type system and can lead to oversensitive steering. We recommend this 800 psi pressure reducing valve for all Ford Standard and Mustang II Rack and Pinion Set ups. Steering is a critical function on your vehicle and you don't want to trust the performance of this system to just anyone. These components are all made in the USA or Locally here in Australia to exacting standards.
